A site about getting your personal data off the internet should collect as little of it as possible. NordicVeil is a static website with no user accounts, no comment system, no newsletter, and no contact forms. We do not ask for, store, or sell personal information.
What we collect
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. This analytics system is cookieless and does not build individual visitor profiles; data points are anonymized and aggregated. We do not run advertising trackers, social-media pixels, or fingerprinting scripts.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes standard server logs (such as IP addresses) as part of operating any website, governed by Vercel's privacy policy.
Affiliate links and third-party sites
Some links on this site lead to third-party services and may include an affiliate identifier so the vendor knows the visit came from us (see our affiliate disclosure). Once you leave this site, the destination's own privacy policy applies. Affiliate networks may set cookies on the destination site to attribute sign-ups; we receive aggregate commission reports, never your personal details.
Cookies
NordicVeil does not set cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about visitors, requests under the CCPA, GDPR, or similar laws to access or delete personal data will almost always have a simple answer: we have nothing on file. If you believe we hold information about you, contact us through the details on our about page and we will respond.
Changes
If our practices change, for example if we ever add a newsletter, this policy will be updated first and the "Last verified" date above will reflect the revision.
